Metafram is the inventor of the high-performance sintered self-lubricating bearing in bronze (BP25) and ferrous alloy (FP20 and SO16), developed over 60 years ago. With our dedicated team of 30 employees and a catalog of almost 600 standard products, we design and manufacture all our products in France, in our own workshop based in Oloron-Sainte-Marie.

Ranging from 2 mm to 125 mm in diameter for our bushings and bearings, we have the possibility of supplying you large as well as small volumes.
Metafram offers a wide range of bushings and bearings and is also able to customize its offering for specific applications.

- To optimize your equipment, we can design sintered bearings and bushings with specific shapes to fit your special applications.
Metagliss Products
Self-lubricating friction plates.
For your specific applications, we can also supply impregnated friction plates with thicknesses ranging from 4 mm to 20 mm. They can then be machined to the desired shape.
These plates consist of a sintered porous bronze metal substrate obtained using powder metallurgy. They can be impregnated with special oils and coated with a solid film of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for continuous operation in hydrodynamic or oily conditions.

Sintering process,
our expertise.
Sintering is a process for manufacturing metal components from sintered powder, based on high-temperature diffusion below the melting point. We use this process to manufacture our self-lubricating bearings and self-lubricating friction plates.
Performed under vacuum within our latest furnace system we guarantee a high treatment quality and perfect mechinical properties of the part.
